The agroecology demonstration farms at MMU and UMU play a crucial role in providing practical, hands-on learning experiences for students. Recent upgrades to these farms include the installation of a biogas unit and the implementation of water conservation structures. Additionally, a new community demonstration farm has been established in Kabarole district. These farms serve as vital training grounds for both students and local farmers, promoting sustainable agricultural practices and demonstrating the practical applications of agroecological principles.
